The rise (and rise) of facial rejuvenation
According to a new report the global facial rejuvenation market in set to rise by nearly 5 per cent before the year 2021.

The findings from Persistence Market Research (PMR) suggest the predicted growth for the facial rejuvenation market on the whole (including non-invasive options like dermal fillers and skin resurfacing) is set to rise by 4.9 per cent in the next five years.

Titled ‘Global Market Study on Facial Rejuvenation: Early onset of Ageing and Rising Adoption of Minimally Invasive Procedures to Drive the Market’, the global facial rejuvenation market is expected to expand during the forecast period 2015-2021.

By product type, the botulinum products are expected to remain the most popular, registering highest annual rise of 7 per cent in terms of value, over the forecast period. The long-term effectiveness of the treatment, safer treatment options, and wide-ranging availability is expected to contribute to its increasing popularity, say the researchers. Facial rejuvenation using dermal fillers is the second most popular form of non-surgical anti-ageing treatment.

The year-on-year rise in non-surgical facial rejuvenation treatments is something Mr. Jag Chana has seen in his private clinic first hand. The anti-ageing expert says non-invasive facial rejuvenation treatments have proved popular both as stand-alone treatments for ageing signs such as lines and wrinkles, but also in combination with surgical facial rejuvenation procedures, such as the facelift.

“The rise in popularity for non-surgical facial rejuvenation treatments looks set to continue, with many younger patients opting for minimally invasive cosmetic treatments to reduce the signs of ageing,” he explains.

“Non-surgical facial rejuvenation treatments in London are a reliable and effective way of minimising the early signs of ageing around the eyes and mouth, however, for older patients, or those with more advanced signs of ageing, facial rejuvenation surgery may still be the best option. Booking a consultation for facial rejuvenation treatments in London is the best way to find out which anti-ageing procedures (or which combination of non-surgical and invasive procedures) are most suitable for you.”

What if the signs of ageing can’t be helped with non-surgical facial rejuvenation?
Non-invasive anti-ageing treatments like dermal fillers and Botox injections have their place and are popular – as we can see by the rise reported – but what if the signs of ageing can’t be helped with non-surgical facial rejuvenation? When it comes to anti-ageing surgery, no other procedure can rival the results of a facelift.

During facelift surgery, the muscles beneath the skin are tightened and lifted, while the skin is tightened to improve the overall tone of the face. Patients can expert to look 5-10 years younger after facelift surgery, with improved facial structure. Thanks to improved techniques, the results of facelift surgery are now subtle and natural looking.
