Ultrasonic rhinoplasty is a new technique for nose reshaping which uses a machine called a piezotome. This emits an ultrasonic energy which can be directed very accurately to reshape the nasal bones without causing any collateral damage to surrounding soft tissues. It reduces the downtime following the surgery by minismising the degree of bruising and swelling. It also provides the surgeon more precision in the bone reshaping process. You can read the experience of my patient Sonia in her five star review of the procedure:
Mr Chana is a lovely and calm mannered man, as soon as I had my first consultation I felt at ease and knew that I was making the right choice. I had always disliked my nose because of a bump that I had on my bridge. I decided to go ahead with the ultrasonic rhinoplasty as I wanted the least amount of recovery time before going back to work. I was also intrigued to see the refined results that could be made easier with the technique. After my procedure I had no pain whatsoever. 3 weeks after surgery all my bruising had gone, the swelling had come down very dramatically and I returned to work. No one at work had noticed my nose, which I was very happy about. I even met up with one of my closest university friends who kept on saying how lovely I looked but couldn’t quite put his finger on why. Now it’s exactly 7 weeks from surgery and my nose looks amazing! I am so happy with the results, I have no bump on my nose and it matches my features perfectly. My nose looks so natural and my confidence has improved so much. Honestly, choosing the ultrasonic rhinoplasty with Mr Chana was the best decision I’ve ever made.
